POSITION OVERVIEW

Black Girl Visions, Inc. is seeking a Human Resource Contractor to provide as-needed HR support for the organization. The ideal candidate will have experience in HR administration, recruitment, policy development, and organizational compliance. This contractor will play a key role in ensuring HR functions run smoothly while aligning with the company’s mission, DEI policies, and Christian-based values.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with our organizational culture and legal requirements

• Manage recruitment processes including job posting, screening, interviewing, and onboarding

• Advise on employee relations matters and conflict resolution
  Support performance management processes

• Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations

• Develop and maintain HR documentation and record-keeping systems

• Assist with benefits administration and payroll processing as needed

• Provide guidance on professional development opportunities for staff

• Support organizational culture initiatives

• Consult on diversity, equity, and inclusion practices

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in human resources management
• Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
• Ability to work independently and problem-solve
• Proficiency with HR software and Microsoft Office Suite
• SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus
• Experience working with Black-led organizations and/or understanding of issues impacting Black communities is highly valued
